These terms govern all emergency callouts, diagnostic inspections, pipework repairs, and related domestic and commercial services provided by MC Plumbing Solutions.

By requesting an urgent callout, you agree to our emergency diagnostic and labor rates, grant access to your property, and acknowledge your duty to isolate stopcocks where feasible.
1.1. MC Plumbing Solutions ("we", "us", "our") provides emergency plumbing, water leak containment, burst pipe repair, drainage unblocking, and component replacement across the East Midlands and Home Counties, operating online at www.mcplumbingsolutions.co.uk.

2.1. We undertake emergency domestic and light commercial plumbing callouts across our 16 primary service hubs, including: Wellingborough, Rushden, Kettering, Burton Latimer, Corby, Desborough, Rugby, Crick, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell, Flitwick, and Bedford, as well as adjacent towns and villages across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire.
2.2. Services Included: Rapid diagnostics, internal water main leak containment, burst copper and plastic pipe repair, tap and ball valve replacements, toilet overflow and siphon repairs, radiator valve leaks, internal waste unblocking, and non-destructive tracing.
2.3. Exclusions: We do not undertake major construction groundworks, extensive civil sewer mains excavations outside private property boundaries, or gas work requiring Gas Safe registration unless specifically agreed in writing.
3.1. MC Plumbing Solutions is an emergency plumbing service and cannot replace statutory UK emergency services for gas leaks.

4.1. When you contact us for emergency assistance, we assess technician availability and provide an estimated time of arrival ("ETA") based on prevailing traffic, route conditions, and ongoing urgent interventions.
4.2. All ETAs are provided in good faith as realistic estimates and do not form a strict guarantee of arrival time. Factors such as adverse road traffic, motorway closures, severe weather, or unforeseen technical complications on a preceding emergency job may affect arrival. We maintain direct telephone and WhatsApp updates with you while the engineer is en route.
5.1. Transparent Pricing: Emergency attendance rates are agreed upon initial telephone or WhatsApp contact prior to dispatch. Rates comprise an initial emergency attendance and diagnostic fee, which covers travel to the property and the first period of professional inspection and initial containment.
5.2. Parts & Materials: Any replacement fittings, pipes, isolation valves, siphon units, or specialist consumables required to complete the repair are quoted directly to you prior to installation and itemized on the final invoice.
5.3. Payment Due Upon Completion: Payment is strictly due immediately upon completion of the emergency work or temporary water containment on-site. We accept all major UK debit/credit cards, contactless card payments via mobile chip & pin terminal, and verified instant bank transfers (BACS/Faster Payments).
5.4. Late Payment & Commercial Debts: In the event of non-payment or dishonoured transactions, interest will be charged at the statutory rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, alongside reasonable recovery and legal expenses.
6.1. Access: The customer must ensure safe, unhindered access to the property, the internal stopcock, affected pipework, and isolation valves for our attending engineer.
6.2. Water Isolation Duties: While waiting for our engineer, the customer must make every reasonable effort to locate and turn off their main internal water stopcock (or boundary external stoptap if accessible) and isolate electrical circuits in damp or water-affected rooms.
6.3. Working Environment: Our technicians reserve the right to decline or halt work without liability if a property presents immediate structural collapse risk, raw sewage hazards without adequate protective clearance, hostile behaviour, or exposed live electrical hazards.
7.1. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally possess a 14-day statutory right of cancellation for off-premises contracts.
7.2. Emergency Exemption (Regulation 28(1)(d)): When you contact MC Plumbing Solutions and expressly request an urgent visit for emergency repairs, maintenance, or burst pipe containment, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to services supplied immediately to safeguard your property.
7.3. Abortive Visits: If an emergency engineer has been dispatched and is en route, and you cancel the callout before arrival or refuse entry upon arrival, the initial callout charge remains payable to cover incurred travel, fuel, and allocated engineer time.
8.1. Workmanship Guarantee: All original repair work performed by MC Plumbing Solutions is covered by a 30-day workmanship guarantee against defective labor on the specific pipe joints, valves, or components installed by our technician.
8.2. Manufacturer Warranties: All new parts and materials installed are subject to their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist you with part provenance and documentation in the event of component failure.
8.3. Pre-Existing Plumbing Deficiencies: Our guarantee does not cover pre-existing corrosion, aged lead or severely scaled galvanized pipework, substandard third-party installations, or subsequent freeze damage occurring after our visit.
9.1. Pre-Existing Water Damage: MC Plumbing Solutions accepts no liability for water damage, mold, warped flooring, plaster deterioration, or electrical damage that occurred prior to our arrival or as a result of delay by the property occupier in reporting or isolating water leaks.
9.2. Concealed Pipework & Structural Access: Where pipework is concealed within boxed-in ducting, tiled boxing, subfloors, or behind plasterboard walls, our technician will request your authorization before creating reasonable diagnostic inspection openings. We take immense care to minimize disruption, but make-good plastering, tiling, and redecoration remain the responsibility of the property owner.
9.3. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter where it would be unlawful to exclude liability under English law.

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
